MASTER OF DIVINITY: – Candidate must be passed Bachelor of Theology or must be Graduate in general Education for the Admission in Master of Divinity. The duration of course of studies 2 years to 3 years.

What is this course about?
Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a 2-year postgraduate course, the minimum eligibility for admission to which is the successful completion of graduation (B.A./ B.Sc./ B. Com./ Bachelor of Theology) from a recognized Seminary/College.
The program enables university graduates to obtain comprehensive theological knowledge, ministerial skills, specialization in a chosen theological discipline, an academic study of religion and the practices of religious communities and convictions and practices of their own religious traditions Students of Master of Divinity (M.Div.) course prepares for Christian ministry, teaching at graduate (B.Th.) level, ordained or lay ministry, leadership in congregations and other religious communities, ministries in social service, hospital and prison chaplaincy, and interfaith ministry on college campuses.
The program fulfills the entry requirements of the Asia Theological Association for MTh. Students who have completed M.A. can opt to add a third year to their qualification with an M.Div. degree, thus making themselves eligible for M.Th. (Master of Theology)
Course learning outcomes
M. Div., students will acquire foundational preparation for ordained ministry and for Christian leadership in congregations and other settings. Students will:
1.Develop breadth of knowledge and critical understanding of the theological disciplines;
2.Acquire capacities for understanding and engaging the cultural, social, and global context of God’s mission in the world;
3.Experience personal and professional growth through a process of intellectual, spiritual and ministry formation;
4.Develop and hone skills for theologically reflective ministry practice in its various forms.
